First Patient Visit

Upon entering Earthway Family Chiropractic Kasie will welcome you and request that you complete a new patient form. This paperwork provides us with information on your health history and what brought you in to see Dr. Lalonde. 

Once you have completed the new patient form you will have a Health Consultation with Dr. Lalonde where you will discuss any health-related concerns, questions and potential treatment options.  This initial visit is designed for Dr. Lalonde to learn more about you and any health-related concerns you may have. 

After your consultation, You will change into a gown and Dr. Lalonde will perform a complete Chiropractic Examination. This will involve inspecting your area of complaint or the injured area and performing certain tests to determine the root cause of your problem.  Common tests include posture analysis, Range of motion, leg length analysis and spinographs (Chiropractic X-Ray). 

Once Dr. Lalonde has completed your physical examination the Chiropractic Health Assistant Kasie will give you instructions on preparing for your Chiropractic  X-Ray. Dr. Lalonde will then take the spinograph X-Ray and you can change back into your clothes. 

Upon the completion of the health history, physical examination and X-Ray you will watch a brief yet powerful video about what Dr. Lalonde will be discussing with you,  then Dr. Lalonde will give you a detailed report of the exam findings, your diagnosis and then recommended a plan of management to help you recover and maintain your spinal health.

Based on Dr. Lalonde's findings and your diagnosis, a treatment plan will be developed for your specific condition.  If necessary Dr. Lalonde may choose to co-manage your case with another health care provider such as your family medical doctor or your nurse practitioner. This ensures that all aspects of your health are looked after in an optimal manner.
